Naya Ubud is a beautiful Resort & Retreat Center located in the ricefields of Ubud, Bali. I was brought on for 5 months to rebrand and redesign all stationery. In addition, I was also asked to manage all internal and external communication for the brand. The Resort is run by yoga guru Rebecca Pflaum. She has a very creative and spiritual vision for the interior design of the resort. Part of my job was to translate this vision of hers into graphic design for online and offline communication.
This project was about ensuring guests had a great overall experience through offline and online communication by the resort. Including the moment they booked their stay with the resort, till the moment they leave. I wanted to ensure the Naya experience was embodied throughout the entire duration. It was crucial to evoke a homely feeling for guests, while being in a tropical oasis, a place where body, mind and soul are fed and have a chance to thrive. Naya's existing logo, a lotus flower in rainbow colours, was a great starting point for me to redesign their retreat packages and spa menu. I also incorporated this colourful theme when redesigning amenities around the room including; doorhangers, keychains, postcards, thank you cards & tip envelopes.
Photography & Online
During the 5 months I worked with Naya Ubud, we also did 2 new photoshoots. One to capture the interior of the resort and another with a more "artistic" angle to capture the atmosphere of the Resort.
When it came to online marketing, I helped improve their social media presence, by increasing their Facebook following and frequently posting updates on their social media channels including Instagram. The social media posts depicted the colorful daily life at the resort and within the Ubud community. Eventually I began redesigning the company's website to reflect the new brand identity so that it matches across the board.
Website design still in progress.
